AADC community forum addresses cuts to food banks, farmers / Gold Country Media - Our very own Auburn Area Democratic Club hosted a community forum as Food Banks and farmers across the nation are struggling after at least $1 billion in USDA funding cuts, including $330 million for California. Cuts that our Congressman, Kevin Kiley, voted for.

Trump orders strike on Iran - Live Updates / CNN - The U.S. launched missile strikes on targets in Iran last Saturday night. Trump then announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, but the deal remains unclear.
“The actions by President Trump are shocking and are reminiscent of the government’s manufactured crisis that led up to the invasion of Iraq. Saturday night’s strikes set a very dangerous precedent and endanger the lives of U.S. servicemembers and citizens currently abroad,” said Nick Bennett, Chair of the PCDCC and an Iraq War veteran.
