"No Kings" Protests happened throughout the nation on June 14th. Some reports estimated up to 11 million people protested President Donald Trump and his administration.
On the same day, Trump held a military parade to mark the 250th anniversary of the Army (which also coincided with Trump's birthday) and was reportedly a flop.

- Trump Supporter Assassinates Democrats - Vance Boelter, the alleged gunman, is accused of assassinating Melissa Hortman, a legislator, and her husband. The two other victims who were injured in the assassination spree were State Senator John Hoffman and his Wife, Yvette. Governor Tim Walz and other government officials have labeled these murders as "political assassinations." Boelter's "list of targets linked to him, had names of people from multiple states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska and Iowa" NBC news reported.
Consistent with their journalism malpractice, Trump's rightwing media outlets continued to propagate propaganda. They lied in their headlines and stories by alleging the assassin was an extreme left-wing person. In reality, the AP reported that Boelter "held deeply religious and politically conservative views." He was a registered Republican who attended Trump's rallies, AP reported.
