Jessup University in Rocklin revealed its version of Christianity, supporting the separation and deportation of families, the kidnappings of immigrants, and U.S. citizens without due process. They held a job fair at their campus that included Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies. Congressman Kevin Kiley (CD-3) supported the ICE Job Fair with attendance in his official capacity. A job fair with the objectives that align with the Christian Nationalists' bigotry of his church. Assemblymember Joe Patterson (AD-5) was also in attendance.
In stark contrast, on a cold and foggy December, a dedicated crowd of about 70 people held banners and signs, which included Christian Bible verses supporting immigrants and their families. The protestors played music and sang or shouted other messages demanding that ICE and DHS agencies conducting illegal deportations leave Placer County communities.
Supporting the protestors were David Hildebrand, running for State Senate, 6th District, against Roger Niello and Chris Bennett running in Congressional District 3.

Nick Turse, Dec. 5, 2025, The Intercept
TWO SURVIVORS CLUNG to the wreckage of a vessel attacked by the U.S. military for roughly 45 minutes before a second strike killed them on September 2. After about three quarters of an hour, Adm. Frank Bradley, then head of Joint Special Operations Command, ordered a follow-up strike — first reported by The Intercept in September — that killed the shipwrecked men, according to three government sources and a senior lawmaker.

Mainstream Democrats use dozens of old catchphrases that suggest they’re out of step. “When they go low, we go high,” for example, sounded fine when Michelle Obama first said it in 2016, but it passed its sell-by date almost the next day. For quite some time, the Democratic Party, which is still closely aligned with banks and billionaires, has needed to go anywhere but high.

In certain ways, the autumn of 2025 in the United States has recalled the autumn of 1938 in Nazi Germany.
The mass deportation of undocumented people was one of Hitler’s largest coercive policies before the war. That fall, the German police and SS rounded up Jews who lacked German citizenship and dumped them on the Polish side of the German-Polish border. This set off a chain of events which can give us a useful perspective on where we are now. A family was deported; a provoked refugee took revenge; the government organized a pogrom and reorganized its police; the Second World War followed.
