OVER 30,000: that's how many people are food insecure in Placer County. And it's only getting worse since the Government shutdown as CalFresh cards face possibility of no new funds in November.

In partnership with Feeding the Foothills (formally Placer Food Bank), we are hosting two volunteer opportunities:

Monday, November 10th 2pm - 4pm

Wednesday, November 19th, 9:00am - 11:00am

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is threatening to withhold billions of dollars in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) contingency funding, which Congress has already allocated for emergency scenarios, if the government shutdown stretches into November; impacting the entire country.

If that were correct, why would the fascist leader show an AI jet flyover on the No Kings' protesters? The historic number of democratic participants at those rallies are concerning for any dictator.
