LINCOLN CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, January 13th at 6:00 PM
Lincoln City Hall
600 6th Street
Lincoln CA 9564
|
By now, most have likely heard that Lincoln city councilmember Holly Andreatta made the news regarding her divisive and misguided commentary to students at Twelve Bridges High School's Turning Point USA's "Club America."
|
The Democratic Club of Lincoln is calling for the formal censure of City Council Member Andreatta following her promotion of racist and homophobic tropes and "white Christian nationalist" propaganda to local students.
Her inflammatory rhetoric regarding DEI and constitutional protections has not only spread dangerous misinformation but has also created a hostile environment at the Twelve Bridges campus, inciting threats of violence and deep community division.
DCL President Ruth Cox, featured in the LA Times and local news, maintains that such prejudice disqualifies Andreatta from representing our city. We must take a stand against this extremism; we urge all Lincoln community members to attend the upcoming City Council meeting to condemn this rhetoric and demand accountability for our community.
